Bullseye’s Top Toys 2021

In 2021, Likely teamed up with Target and FAO Schwarz to highlight the year’s top toys leading into the holiday season. This partnership involved a 30-second commercial for broadcast and web distribution, as well as dozens of product demonstrations showing off the best toys that Target and FAO have to offer.

An Enchanted Adventure

The Top Toys 2021 project centered on a magical journey through FAO Schwarz in New York City. We designed the lighting, camera movement, and talent direction to feel like the viewer is on a ride at Disney World. Each of the presenters (many of them professional actors on Broadway) improvised demonstrations in iconic locations within the store – like the giant dance-on piano, made famous in the movie Big.

Designed to be Clicked

The 37 toy demonstrations were grouped into 6 different themes, and we advised Target on optimizing these videos for YouTube. With our experience creating clickable content on the platform, we shot a series of photos of Jon as the Toy Soldier and composited engaging YouTube thumbnails.

Behind the Scenes

In addition to the videos for our clients, we created this behind-the-scenes vlog about the whole experience for our channel, Likely Crew. The video documents our adventures inside the world's coolest toy store and features an exclusive, deleted scene – The FAO Schwarz Toy Test Lab!
